Bible Study—We will resume our study of II Chronicles at 11:00 a.m. this Wednesday, May 9

Session Visioning Meeting—Thursday, May 10, at 9:30 a.m.

Thrilling Thursday—This is the week!! Thrilling Thursday on May 10th at 6:00 p.m. Following a
delicious dinner we’ll hear from Jaap Groen, a Holocaust survivor. After reading a bit of his
biography in the May newsletter, you’ll surely want to hear, “the rest of the story….”

Relay for Life—Hope you are planning to be at the Relay at the Union County Farmer’s Market
on May 18th at 5:45 p.m. Details in the May issue of the church newsletter. Still time to drop those
coins in the collection boxes and order luminaries.

Food Pantry—April was the busiest month ever! We helped 75 families with 193 people. We
always need just about everything except canned green beans! It seems most of the local people
grow and can green beans. We are low on peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, tuna, chili, and
toothpaste. Hot Dogs and Buns can be put in the right-hand freezer in the Food Pantry. There is
now a box in the narthex for donations if you do not come down to the Fellowship Hall after
service. Thank you so much!
