THE CRO-KNITTERS
The Cro-Knitters meet the 4th Tuesday of the month at 1 PM in the church library. Please come join us.
During the Month of Hearts (and flowers, for some), we would like to draw your attention to a real project of love—Knit and Crochet for Kids. This a program of Guideposts that provides sweaters for boys and girls in need of warm clothing both here in the U.S. and around the world.
There are no time limits involved, just a finished sweater once in a while. You can be part of this mission even if you don’t knit or crochet—just by donating yarn or postage. Please see Dottie Riggs for more information.
Check out the sweater display in the Fellowship Hall. We’d love to have you join our circle of friends as we knit and crochet for the children. Along with a wonderful time of fellowship, we’ll be happy to provide directions and teaching for making the sweaters.
Even in Africa and, yes, Haiti, the nights get chilly and the children need sweaters. The sweater they receive could be the only item a child will have to call his or her own.
Our group here at Mountain Presbyterian Church is known as the Cro-Knitters and meets in the church library on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m. We’d love to have you join us in this worthy outreach project.
